Writing and review
Section titled “Writing and review”Start a draft from the current published branch and name it after the topic, such as draft/alex/new-auth-guide. Staged edits stay away from readers.
A preview renders the branch as a snapshot. Review navigation, headings, links, code blocks, images, and responsive layout. Read the source diff and run documentation linting before committing.
A pull request should explain what changed, why, affected pages, validation performed, and any access, SEO, or migration impact.
Merging brings reviewed work into main. Publishing is separate, so a team can merge several changes and release them together.
AI may prepare a branch, but a person must review, commit, merge, and publish it.
